    Meet Your Hosts

    Open May 1 - October 8

It's winter in Montana. Although our store is closed we have open bathrooms and cabins and cottages to rent. Call or stop by house to register.

At the foot of the Absaroka Mountains along the shady banks of the Yellowstone River. Towering cottonwoods shade this mountain country KOA along the Yellowstone River. You are never much more than a long cast from KOA's 500 feet of frontage on the Yellowstone, a blue-ribbon trout stream. If you lose your favorite fly, replace it at the campground store! Livingston boasts a fly-fishing museum, art galleries and antique shops. Find outdoor activities in every direction. Don't miss a visit to Yellowstone National Park, 40 miles south. Your hosts can arrange raft trips on the Yellowstone or horseback rides and direct you toward great hikes in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area.

Family is what it's all about for owners Diane and Terry Devine.

They purchased the campground in 1990 in order to have a career that would allow them to work together and with their children.

"We didn't want to have to go back to school, and we wanted to continue to live in this area and enjoy this beautiful valley," says Diane. "And we wanted to be able to enjoy our five children while we can."

Terry has a college degree in agriculture, and Diane's degree is in botany. In the winter, you'll find Terry logging timber in the mountains, while Diane enjoys some painting and photography.

"We treat our guests like family," Diane says. "We love to make improvements to the campground and see how our campers react to our efforts."
